What's the average height for Asian & Indian men? I am a 24 yr old black guy, 5'4... I wanted to know what percentage of adult men are taller than me? I
My cousin said even the average asian and indian man is taller than me, is this true?
Asian, Indian and Latino men tend to be shorter on average than black and white men, am I shorter than the average indian, latina, and asian man too? If so im ******! | India: 5'8
Asian: Around 5'5-5'7 | What is this song off of the hangover called? Its when they are all at the pool and this song comes on during the scene change. It goes like "what do you do when your to ****** up." then has some asian voices making noises. | this scene? www.youtube.com/watch?v=u7_wQfZV-…

then is this the original =D
www.youtube.com/watch?v=6RQQumBnR… | How come girls are really shallow now a day? In the United States? In society class our class learn that American girls are more open minded back in the days, now girls are really shallow and won't consider even dating an Asian guy because of negative stereotype. Why are things like that? I thought society will accept minority as time passes but America is wrong. The country gets more ****** up as time passes .. | It's just how things are. There's really no explanation for it, other than to blame the media for setting guidelines on what constitutes "being attractive."
Sorry. :/
I'm not a big fan of Asian guys either. Many of them ARE attractive, but it's just not my cup of tea. :) | I ****** up my freshman year in high school. How can I fix this? I mean, back in middle school, I received so much awards. From the President's Excellence Award to the Kiwanis Excellence award + $100 visa credit card. I was in NJHS (national junior honor society) for 3 years straight! I don't know why, I ****** up my freshman year so bad. First semester I barely made it with a 2.3 GPA. Csts are coming up, and I highly doubt I'm going to pass geometry + biology with proficient or higher. Due to my low GPA, I was dropped out of English Honors for next year. I know I have to tried harder and not give up, but I feel as if I'm going to die. I'm such a disgrace. Also, I'm Asian. Asian parent are so much harder on their guys. Also! Colleges look at your cumulative GPA from freshman through senior year. How am I going to get into a good college now. I really want to get into UCI or something like that. I know I'm complaining, but can someone knock some sense into me? | i know exactly where you're coming from (i'm asian too). Except, it took me till the end of my first semester of sophomore year to change my act. My gpa? a 3.5 (which is a big 'my daughter is a disgrace' kind of thing).
First off, reflect on WHY you did so horribly. What happened to make you change your attitude? Maybe it was the stress, or that you're just not used to honor classes. If that's the case, you can always drop out of honors (but keep some), so that you won't feel so stressed.
In the beginning of sophomore year, I thought that it was going to be as easy as freshmen year, and I basically slacked off. But, I put in too many activities, so much that I basically slept for 4 hours everyday. Lemme tell you, that kills you. Instead of listening to my teachers, I was sleeping. As soon as I realized my mistake, my grades zoomed up. My C in chem became a B in less than 3 weeks (right in time too).
But, you're a freshman, you still have a chance. First off, change the way that you look at things currently. Instead of losing hope, keep focusing on how everything will help you in the end. High school is different from middle school; it's harder, much more rigerous, and you need a lot of focus to stay on track.Second, start studying! The CST WILL count!!
Look at it this way. 2.5 is low, yes, but you can make up for it. I'm guessing you have a C or lower in some class, right? Well, take some classes during the summer, and hopefully that will boast up the GPA. For the rest of your high school career, keep on working hard towards AT LEAST a 3.5 (so, out of 6 classes, that's 2Bs and 4A's).
Here's some of the things that helped me raise up my GPA:
--study, study, study! It doesn't matter if you don't have time, make time! Studying will help you remember things for the big day. It doesn't matter how long, 30 mins or 2 hours, it will definitely help you. OH, and while studying turn off your electronics, and dedicate your full attention to studying (i really should be following this, I'm typing this instead of studying for the big AP exam in 7 days -.-).
--If you don't get something, ask the teacher. It's not embarrassing, the teacher will help you (they actually do want you to succeed), and will definitely not laugh at you. Actually, this will work out pretty well, they know that you're trying.
--Don't push yourself to the limit just to please your parents. So what if you're not in honors?! It's easier, go or the A in that class! I got a B in spanish freshmen year, and got pushed into regular spanish, but now I have the highest grade in the class just because it's easier. If you still want to go for honors, you can transfer out later on (but it will be difficult).
--Sleep [= Trust me, it helps a whole lot.
--Don't give up on hope! You can make itt, and get into the school of your dreams IF you're willing to work hard for it.
--Talk to your counselor and ask for tips that might help you.
--Think about the SAT, the SAT just might boast your overall grade during college applications.
KEEP WOORKING FOR IT! I believe in you If I can do it, so can you! [=
Oh, final thing, you can always get tutoring. | Are there any asian ladies out there who are interested in black men? I'm a young 24 year old african american male from, CA and I just love to be with an asian female. I love their attitudes, work ethic and just how they treat their men. I'm not the typical black male stereotype. I'm not a "ghetto" I don't have any baby mama drama, I have a job. I admire a lot of qualities in the Asian culture. I've never been into the black culture. I'm not loud, ghetto, and arrogant, and not a clown all the time. It sucks because I feel connected more to asian women, but it's hard trying to break the stereotype. Their famlies view black men as dirty and ****** up. The negative always outweighs the positives. I wish that I could meet a nice asian female who can accept me for me. But I won't give up looking for one. Even if it kills me. | | I don't know if the OC&G section of Yahoo Answers is the best place to be looking for your soulmate...just saying, lol. | Eyebrow threading on asian eyebrows? i have thin, overplucked, sparse uneven eyebrows... if i get them threaded would it help at all or am i always going to have ****** up brows lol | For me personally, I really do not like the thin eyebrow look. Threading creates a more fuller and natural groomed look which I think you may like. I have a round face and threading is the perfect eyebrow method for me and I always love how it looks! If your planning to get your eyebrows threaded I would suggest that you grow out your brows a bit and see an eyebrow threader for a consultations of how much you should grow them out before you do them.
I used to get my brows waxed and plucked to a thin line, but after I got mine threaded, I never went back to waxing or plucking ever again. | Why is our society so ****** up? Ah... The eternal quest for veritas begins once again...
I'm in one of my philosophizing moods. It was a good day. I went to the top of one of my favorite hills in my city and sat and watched the city. This is kind of how I diffuse, filter, and sort my thoughts on various days when my mind is thinking about several things.
As I watched the sun set over my native Baltimore, I wondered why our world is like the way it is. Injustice, racism, class inequalities, isolation, loneliness, wars being caused because of tensions between countries etc.
It is another consequence of being human or is it just how the world naturally would be?
Is it greed? Is it the fact that many people want more than the next man and will do whatever it takes to reach that level? Is it misunderstanding, miscommunication? Is it the fact that something gets lost in translation throughout our daily encounters?
The Caucasian wall street banker can't go into the shoes of the a Middle-Eastern taxi driver? Or the Asian girl who comes from a conservative background can't relate to her friends who spend every weekend partying, while she stays at home restricted by her parents?
I personally think one of the reasons the world is the way it is now is because of the miscommunication between us. We can't relate with people. It's true that we like people who look like us. White men can relate a lot with white men. Black men can relate with black men. Asian men can relate with asian men. Hispanic men can relate with hispanic men.
So on, so forth. However, coming from a biracial background, it's hard to relate with one group, so I get a chance to step back from it all and observe.
Just the fact that we are different causes conflict. Conflict initiates seperation. Seperation initiates more isolation, which makes us less unified and more indifferent to the other person. We couldn't care whether they live or die.
Just the warmth felt in this country after September 11th was ridiculous. It was overwhelming. It brought us back together and made us realize we are one. Then, after the flames of the towers died down, so did the flames in our hearts, and then our hearts revert back to cold, cold, cold stone.
Perhaps this is just a consequence of being human or maybe one day in an age of progressivism, the human race can overcome the superficialities that separate us now and become united in bliss.
These are just my ramblings. What do you think? | i 100 percent agree with you.
people don't ever want to hear the truth, so they sugar coat it and say life goes on to ignore it all. but how can we say life goes on with all this nonsense around us and how can people be so coy about the terror and crime in our cities?
idk why people always complain, they'll answer within seconds of someone says omg i think im pregnant or im 13 and i had sex, yet when it's somehting that is affecting our generation and lives, they don't budge or take an interest.
it's definitely frustrating, but i guess some people straight up don't give a **** about socity and how this is all affecting our lives in one way or another.
i know i'm not too lazy to read, that's why i love getting an educstion, and being educated. i don't wanna be another ditsy girl worrying more about getting her phone taken away than about the wars that are facing our countries and our fellow classmates, family, and friends being judged and hurt apon. | How come some "caps" (hats) make good looking people, look, ****** hideous? ? me for example, i look really good with certain hair length / style, but with not that type of hair i feel i look gross and ugly, and when i put a hat on, **** i look FAT and over weight with it on, some kind of asian frog, which is ****** up cause i dont even have asian features | uhhhh. you sound angry. so i suggest you simmer down. :P
and no one looks good in EVERYTHING. its impossible.
you just need to find pieces that flatter you.
nothing looks worse than someone wearing unflattering clothes, but i think you've figured that outt.
just find things that look good on you and rock themmm:)

au.answers.yahoo.com/question/ind… | How to find male porn stars name? hes the guy on mr chews asian beaver he ****** carmela woods{santiago} cant find his name for the life of me help | | It will be on the cover or the credits to the DVD | Is it medical possible for my gf to really have gotten this way? Ok so my gf was telling me about these two guys she slept with before and i dont mind that because its the past but i dont want her to be lying to me though u know and dont come with that (you need to mind your business, thats so immature, grow up bla bla BLA). but anyway she had just turned 17 the same month it happened, she is 18 and i am 19 but i met her 1 month after it had happened. She told me that she had this guy friend whom she somewhat trusted and he kept asking her to do and she kept saying no until one day she says that he met her out side and told her to follow him then she followed him without any of them saying one word to each other for the rest of the time. ok so there walking to the house and she is apparently "numb" on the way there then next thing you know she says she walked really far and was infront of his house, then they go in and they sit on the couch and he makes a move on her but she doesnt want to but then he just kept going at it taking off her clothes so she decides to take them off because she didnt like other guys taking off her clothes so she lays her back after she is all naked and she is aware that he has a condom on and he starts going at it while she is trying to close her legs because she doesnt want to do it but he opens them and keeps going even put up her head and put his "thing" on her lips BUT she says she felt really numb (like all her other past experiences) and didnt feel a bit of sexual pleasure. she says that i am the only guy that has ever made her feel anything durring sex then. anyway she finally managed to push him off and started putting on her clothes while he "finished up" sitting on the couch. after she walked all the way home and took a shower for hours because she felt nasty and disgusted with herself. she had a similar incident 3 months before hand and she did the same thing again. She says that nobody warned her buys would be like that, that she did it because she had nobody to advise her other wise and she could never talk to her parents about sex because they were asian and catholic so they pretended like she was never ganna have sex and it never existed. Also she told me that she used to study hard for them but all they did was complain about other **** so she said that she basically did it because she had been going through allot of stuff at the time and she felt like she was already there and couldnt back out of it. Should i believe her that she really didnt want to do it? is it possible for a teenage girl to get so numb that she has no idea what she is doing? to get so numb that she ends up having sex even if she doesnt want to? (btw i just wanted to add that her FIRST boyfriend used her for her money that she used to get from her parents to buy fon cards for some other girl, always used to touch her and try to have sex with her but she kept saying no, treated her like ****,cheated on her, she broke it up, he says he wants to get back but before she could say yes he said "never mind , then asked her if she wanted to have sex with him . so yea he basically treated her like trash. she was like 11 to 12 during all of that stuff and so she lost her virginity when she was 13 to some 18yo guy who wanted her so she told me that she just gave up and gave it to him because she says that her first bf had already touched her anyway so it doesnt matter. man thats so stupid!, anyway she has been with only 3 more guys after the 18yo and has only done it 5 times twice with the 18yo.) So now do you think she was ****** up enough to feel that way? is it medically possible? (again im just curious cause i don't want her lying to me its not that i feel bad i have been there done that OK. I ask because i dont want to be hard on her and acuse her of lying if she has been through so much. Should I stay with her and treat her the way she has been wanting to be treated? or should i move on to somebody with less of a history?
I love her allot and i really want to be with her but this stuff might prove too much to handle :(
Thanks for reading even if it was very long. :) | | Yes, and frankly, it sounds like she was raped! I mean, it was definitely statutory rape when she was 13, but she was also forced. She might be phrasing it like "i just gave it up to this guy," but that's likely a revision of the events--the kind of thing that girls who have been raped will often say, because they tend to blame themselves. The key here is that when you get completely numb like that, like a feeling of leaving your body, like a feeling like all this is happening far away or to somebody else, it's because you're so traumatized that you get this psychological protective mechanism that distances you from the horrors you're experiencing. When you're 13, you just don't know how to handle the situation, and freeze up and panic, and that's one of the many reasons why the age of consent is generally 17 or 18, not 13, but why 18 year old assholes can often manipulate and coerce to get what they want--they're doing this to someone who is emotionally a guy and therefore defenseless (especially since her parents did so little to teach her defenses), even though they might physically look older. Another thing you have to understand is that once that's happened, any similar situation will traumatize you again--you'll get post-traumatic stress disorder flashbacks, and it will be like you're back in that other situation, and you'll be unable to defend yourself again. And that's why she was also numb and unable to resist when these other guys were getting in her pants. In those later situations, likely no court of law would ever charge those guys with rape--she might have been over the age of consent, and she didn't fight back. The guys may have figured that the reason she wasn't resisting too strongly was that she wanted it--or maybe they just didn't care what she was thinking, as long as they got their way. But in reality, her behavior is CLASSIC post-traumatic stress disorder utter panic, terror, and freezing up. To be a supportive boyfriend, you should really talk to her seriously about seeing a counselor for this, to help her deal with what she went through. It likely troubles her a lot more than she is letting on to you. It's a good sign that she has shared this with you--she probably feels that she can trust you, and that you do care about her and want for her what is best. So be worthy of that trust, and get out of your mind any thought that she was "easy" or "slutty" by sleeping with these guys, and recognize her post-traumatic stress and statutory rape for what they are. |
